We are proud to be a world leader in the planning and development of hydropower, wind and solar power plants. Internationally, we cover the entire value chain of renewable energy projects, as well as consulting at the sector level, including planning and strategic consulting, capacity building and program implementation. Among other things, we work with electrification and increased energy access in rural areas in countries where only a small proportion of households have access to electricity.

Solar energy projects in Svalbard, hydropower projects in Africa, Asia, South America and Europe, and marine geotechnical engineering off the west coast of Africa and the North Sea, are some of the many projects we have completed.

We have established wholly owned companies and industries in Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia and Mozambique. In addition, we have half ownership in Norplan Tanzania Ltd, which is Tanzania's largest consulting company.

We enable our clients to implement tomorrow’s sustainable energy systems – today. Our renewable energy consulting arm offers multidisciplinary analysis and consulting services to public and private clients in Norway and internationally. The services are based on our core technical expertise, combined with financial and economic analysis, data analysis and modeling expertise, environmental assessments, and broad sector expertise and market insight.

We support investors and financiers with technical and environmental investment analysis, as well as energy authorities with planning, strategy development and energy regulation. In addition, we assist with public procurement, bilateral and multilateral energy assistance with program implementation, quality assurance and evaluations.

We support our clients in taking the necessary sustainable steps to reduce their climate footprint.
