To reduce our carbon footprint, we are implementing measures to limit emissions from offices, travel, fleet, procurement and waste management. We aim to switch to fossil-free vehicles by 2025 and be climate neutral by 2040 through the Science Based Targets initiative. We also offer fossil-free ground surveys and have introduced a battery-powered rig and biodiesel drillship.

We set strict environmental requirements for suppliers and consider environmental impacts and life cycle costs when purchasing. Products and services must meet well-known environmental standards such as ISO-14001 and the Nordic Ecolabel. All suppliers must sign our declaration of ethics and social responsibility, and we prefer those that meet ISO 45001.

We report our work and results in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the Task Force of Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and the Science Based Target initiative. We also follow the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the EU taxonomy for sustainable activities.
