The Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) assists companies in setting science-based targets for greenhouse gas emissions, with a long-term goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2050.
- We are very pleased that we have now received confirmation that the targets we have set are in line with the Paris Agreement's ambition to limit global warming to 1.5°C. Our engineers and architects develop sustainable solutions in many assignments for customers and society, and it is also very important that we ourselves set high standards in our own business, says Agathe Schjetlein, Executive Vice President Sustainability in the Multiconsult Group.
Schjetlein points out that green transition is central to Multiconsult's strategy, and she believes it is crucial that companies also contribute to the work of reducing greenhouse gas emissions in their own business and thereby limiting climate change.
